Which versions of the YouTrack can be purchased through resellers?

Resellers offer both YouTrack versions: Server licenses and Cloud prepaid annual subscriptions (w/o overuse). We recommend our customers start with Cloud. It allows them to have YouTrack up and running in 2 minutes, and they can migrate to the Server at any time.

YouTrack Cloud is hosted and maintained by JetBrains. It’s our scope to provide 24/7 availability of the service and perform upgrades and backups for restoration purposes.

YouTrack Server is used by companies that prefer limiting access to the YouTrack by deploying it in private environments or maintaining it themselves. Upgrades and availability lie on the maintainer’s side. The same goes for backups.

Server and Cloud versions are available with:

• a Free plan - YouTrack is fully functional and free for a team of up to 10 users and up to 3 support agents in the cloud or on a server.
• a Trial plan - free 60-day trial for 10,000 users and 100 support agents at the Server and 14 days in the Cloud for up to 100 users, 50 support agents, and 100 GB of disk space.
• or Paid subscription - YouTrack Server licenses and Cloud prepaid annual subscriptions (w/o overuse). If customers buy an annual YouTrack Cloud subscription from a JetBrains reseller, they cannot exceed the allowed number of users (by overuse) in their subscription and make additional payments afterward.
  To add more users at any time, the customer can purchase more users in the subscription via a reseller or JetBrains directly.

Purchasing or switching to a Cloud monthly subscription is available via JetBrains only.
