Is it possible to receive an official letter authorizing us to sell JetBrains products?

Yes. While your primary legal authorization to resell JetBrains Products stems directly from your signed JetBrains Channel Partner Agreement (which incorporates these GTCs, establishing your status per Sections 3.1 and 6.1), JetBrains understands that partners may occasionally require a separate, formal letter to confirm this authorization externally. 

Such letters serve to verify your status as a recognized and authorized partner and are often used for specific business purposes like participating in public procurement processes, responding to customer requests for proposal (RFPs), or fulfilling local business registration requirements.

Upon request, JetBrains may issue such a letter of authorization, at its own exclusive discretion. Typically, this letter confirms key details derived from your Partner Agreement and your status within the Partner Program, such as: 

  • Your official company name and address. 
  • Confirmation of your status as an authorized reseller for JetBrains Products covered by the Partner Program.
  • The applicable Territory (as defined in the GTCs and specified in your Partner Portal) for your resale rights. 
  • A validity term, which is generally linked to the ongoing validity of your main Channel Partner Agreement. 

Partners needing such documentation should contact their JetBrains channel representative to discuss their requirements and initiate the request.
