Can we receive a letter of authorization for one of our own partners/resellers?

JetBrains may issue, at its own exclusive discretion, indirect authorization letters for sub-resellers if the parent distributor has fulfilled all compliance and vetting obligations. This includes:

• Disclosure of the sub-reseller’s legal details.
• Completion of a legal and financial risk assessment.
• A review and the granting of approval by the JetBrains Legal team.

The letter essentially confirms your status as an authorized JetBrains partner and acknowledges your relationship with the named indirect reseller for a specific purpose (e.g. a particular RFP). It does not create a direct contractual relationship between JetBrains and the indirect reseller.

JetBrains does not automatically recognize sub-resellers. Authorization is granted on a case-by-case basis and is limited to the agreed territory.

As per the GTCs (Section 6.6-6.10), you remain responsible for ensuring any downstream Unauthorized Resellers you engage with comply with JetBrains' terms and relevant laws.
