What is a Continuity discount?

From January 2, 2025, continuity discounts will no longer apply to new organizational subscriptions. This change affects all JetBrains IDEs, .NET tools, and the All Products Pack/dotUltimate bundles.

This update only impacts new licenses purchased after this date. The existing licenses and packages will retain their current discount rates.

For example, if a customer with 100 IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate licenses currently enjoys a 40% discount, this discount will continue to apply as long as the customer continues using these licenses. However, if you purchase any new licenses after January 2, 2025, no discounts will be applied.

Additionally, we will maintain the discount rate for upgrades from current single IDE licenses to the All Products Pack or dotUltimate bundle. This means customers can continue to benefit from the same savings when upgrading.

For example, if a customer currently holds an IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate license with a 40% discount, they can upgrade to the All Products Pack and get the same 40% discount at any time. This ensures they continue to enjoy valuable savings while enhancing their toolkit. However, please note that this does not apply to downgrades (e.g. from the All Products Pack to a single IDE license).
