What products are staying on the license model?

Our server products, including TeamCity and YouTrack Server, are distributed on the license model. Licenses for these products entitle a customer to perpetual use of the licensed version (available within the subscription period). Each license includes the initial 1-year upgrade subscription qualifying the customer to receive new product releases and technical support.

To stay current with the new product releases and to continue receiving technical support, the customer should renew their upgrade subscription annually. The customer can renew their upgrade subscription at the discounted upgrade subscription price during their upgrade subscription term or within 1 year of its expiration. Regardless of the actual upgrade subscription renewal date, the customer's new upgrade subscription term will always start on the date following their previous upgrade subscription’s expiration date.

Upgrade subscription renewal is optional. If the upgrade subscription expired more than 1 year ago, the customer can still renew it; however, a 50% surcharge will be added to the standard renewal rate.
