Entering the Partner Portal
When entering the Partner portal after log in, the resellers are able to locate a customer to create a quote through a number of options. Resellers are able to search by:
- Customer ID
- Customer Email Address
- Subscription Pack number
- Quote Reference number
Entering Partner Portal by Customer ID
When logging into the portal, resellers can search by Customer ID by entering the Customer ID (Account number) into the search bar.
After this is entered, a pop up box will pop up and the reseller will enter an email address that is associated with the account to gain access into the customer account.
Entering Partner Portal by Email Address
Resellers can search for the customer account via email address by typing the email address of a contact on the account in the search bar.
After this is entered, a pop up box will pop up with all of the accounts that this email address is associated with. The resellers will then choose the correct corresponding account to use.
Entering Subscription Pack number
Resellers can search for accounts by entering a subscription pack number on the account, or that they wish to renew.
After the pack number is entered, the resellers will then enter an email address that is associated with the customer account to gain access.
Entering Quote Reference number
If a customer has already received a valid direct quote from the sales department, they can provide this quote number to the reseller to pull up in the partner portal to turn it into a reseller quote.
Resellers can enter the quote number into the search bar, and then enter the Licensee contact on the quote in the next pop up to pull up a reseller quote.
Purchasing New Subscriptions
Once the reseller is logged into the customer portal, there will be a list of products on the left hand side of the portal page. This is where the new subscriptions can be found. The resellers can click on the product they would like to add and then at the bottom they can choose the quantity of how many new subscriptions they would like, for how many years (one or two year active subscription) and then click ‘Add to cart’.
Renewing Subscriptions and Licenses
To renew subscriptions or licenses, the reseller can enter the portal with the customer information and email address as normal. Then they would click on the ‘Updates & Renewals’ tab and then the ‘Search’ button.
They have the option to search the correct subs./licenses three different ways. They can search by:
- License ID(s)
- Previous PO(s)
- Previous JetBrains Order(s)
- Search by Assigned users
Renewing by License ID
When renewing subscriptions and licenses by License ID, the reseller would enter the portal with the customer information.
They will click ‘Updates & Renewals’ and then the ‘Search’ button. In the next pop up is where the reseller can enter the License IDs they wish to renew. They can then click ‘Search’ again and click on the products to renew or downgrade (if it’s an All Product Pack renewal). After this, it will be added to the reseller’s shopping cart.
Renewing by PO
The reseller has the ability to search by their previous PO number. They would start this the same way as searching by License ID.
They would start by entering the customer information and then clicking the ‘Updates & Renewals’ tab, and then ‘Search’. The reseller can then enter their PO number and click Search. They can do the same by clicking the product and renewing, or downgrading (if All Products Pack). (If it only gives the options to upgrade to the All Products Pack from a singular product, that means the product is still currently active and only has the option to upgrade to the All Products)
After clicking on the product name, it will add to the cart for the reseller to purchase or receive quote.
Renewing by Order Number
Resellers also have the option to renew subscriptions and licenses by previous JetBrains order numbers.

Renewing by Invited User Email

New subscriptions can be co-termed to any date even under one year. But if the subscription is co-termed to any date less than one year, the customer will not receive the perpetual fallback rights, so once the subscription is expired, they will not be able to use it at all unless renewed.

They can then choose one or two years to renew and the quantity they would like, and then click ‘Add to cart’
